  1. I took both the kids to MDO for a "day off!" I spent the whole day at the computer planning and organizing my thoughts for my daughters 1st birthday party! Thanks to Memory Mixer I got her invitations, thank you cards, gift tags, water bottle labels, and cupcake toppers done! What an accomplishment!!

  2. I put my sons' puzzles in ziplock bags. The pieces and the picture from the box fit perfectly in either quart or gallon sized bags. The bags fit into a drawer for storage so much easier than trying to find a place for the boxes!

  3. I organized all my scrapboook, card making supplies. Whoa what a job!

  4. I organized my ribbon and cards into boxes. What a mess. It's much better now. ;)

  5. I started working again my pregnancy scrapbook. I haven't had time until recently when I was admitted into the hospital for preterm labor. Now I am journaling my experiences. I've been in 10 days and counting.

  6. I unpacked all of my scrapbooking supplies in my craft room and found that I sure have a lot of stickers and photos. Next step is actually sitting down to work on them. I've loved starting my Take Time 2011 album which I plan to have printed as a tangible reminder of the importance of taking time!

  7. I organized all of my quilting fabric into mini-bolts! It is so much nicer having then rolled up and displayed like in the quilt shops, but much smaller.

  8. I had to switch out 3-6 mo. clothes for 6-9 mo. clothes for my 4 mo. old baby boy. In the process, I took the time to make sure the right sizes were in the right bins, labelled properly (this is boy #2, & we hope to have more!). I also weeded through some outfits he just never wore & sold them on Craigslist, making $50! I think I'll reward myself with some "me time"--& $!--to scrapbook some, this next week! They grow so quickly!

  9. Taking time for organization? It feels like all I've been doing lately - trying to get more organized and efficient at daily tasks so that I'm in a good solid groove before baby #4 arrives. I like my to-do lists, but I've now streamlined my to-do list into one big week-long to-do list with tasks assigned to certain days - what a weight off my shoulders!! Such a simple little thing, but it works for me!

  10. I have been organizing over 50 years worth of my parents things into a new house. It sure has been fun to reminisce about all the fun things.

  12. After being pregnant and not been able to bend over and get under my kitchen island to reach pots and pans I finally got it organized this morning. It was really bad, because for the last few months of the pregnancy and the first two months of my sons life everything was just throw where ever it would fit. And yesterday it was so bad the skillets were falling out of the cabinet. I am very happy this morning!

  13. Getting a new closet system has been on my to-do list for awhile! I finally went out and bought it, installed it, and went through all the the clothes in our closet. It was definately a weekend project but well worth it. Being new to MemoryMixer, I also took time to learn how to export the album and upload it to the gallery for viewing! So excited and addicted!

  14. I’m blessed with a busy life, and I’m finding I’m rushing around last-minute hurriedly completing something I’ve forgotten to do. So this year, another of my Take Time resolutions, is to take time to organize my thoughts (not an easy task I know) by making lists. I’m writing things down as they pop into my mind on pretty list paper I’ve made with MemoryMixer. Now I’m finding not only do I complete things in a timely manner, but I’m also freeing my mind of the clutter of trying to remember them in the first place, and then the nagging feeling I’m forgetting to do something important.

  15. I took time for organization this week by organizing my daughter's playroom. She will be 3 in a couple of months and decided it was time to get rid of some of her more "baby" toys to make room for more of her "big girl" toys. It was a fun project and I am looking forward to donating her old toys as most are still in really good condition. craftyjac@yahoo.com

  16. This week I took time to organize my room. My family and I are moving in a few months and since I am working full time I decided no better time like the present to start going through things and start packing. I was able to organize my dresser drawers and get rid of many things that I have not used in a long time.

  17. I organized a toy room, little girls room and my "craft" room...wow I have a ton of paper. Now that I am digital what am I going to do with all of it??? It was fun to get rid of a lot of CRAP!!!

  18. I actually unzipped all the kits on my hard drive and put all the previews in one folder so I could more easily find things when I needed them.
