  1. I'm trying to teach my son his colors. He's turning 2 next week, & he's getting a little red wagon. I'm all about themes, so I found a book about a little red wagon, as well. To my surprise & delight, each page points out a toy that's a different color, the last one being--you guessed it!--a red wagon!

(On a side note, has anyone scanned in or taken photos of their children's artwork to add to their scrapbook pages? Just an idea!)

  3. I painted our new guest house and chose colors that I would have never chosen before. I am getting much more daring with colors.

  4. I did a rare thing for us and brought a very colorful bouquet of flowers in to our dining room/kitchen; it's amazing how some bright cheerful colors can help it seem a little more like spring!

  5. I love color!

I don’t think I’ve met a color I didn’t like….well eventually anyway. There’s always my all-time favorite….blue, and then there’s my current second favorite….yellow, and then there’s that ‘new’ trendy favorite that I’ve been flirting with….teal. And don’t even get me started on color combinations!
I’ve Taken Time for color through the pink and turquoise 50’s; the tie-dye, anything goes 60’s; the harvest gold, avocado green, and burnt orange 70’s; the dusty pink and light blue 80’s; the Victorian green and burgundy 90’s; the Americana red, white, and blue 2000’s; and the glitzy 2010’s. No wonder I love color!

  6. My 4 year, who is very meticulous, opened the bin with the next size up of clothes. It has been fun to watch her mix and match clothes. It is interesting to see which things she feels "go together" and which color combinations don't work for her. So much fun.

  7. This week we cut some of the gorgeous bright pink roses that we have in our backyard. My daughter enjoyed smelling the roses and learning how to put them in water. I think she also likes the color pink. They are so bright and lovely.

  8. I brought in some bright yellow daffodils from our yard. They add a fabulous pop of color to my living room!
