My favorite Little Thing this week was my students were assigned a project to present a magic trick to the class. I could see the confidence and feeling of success in their eyes as they each received applause from the rest of the class.

OK, this is very selfish, and it isn't a Little Thing, but my favorite Little Thing this week was my birthday. I didn't have to cook, I was treated to a concert, and received over-the-top presents, with a weekend trip to Sedona in the offing....I'm one spoiled gal!

My favorite little thing was when my 2 1/2 year old came and cuddled in bed with his daddy and I. We spent an hour just laying with each other and laughing over small little tickles.

my favorite little thing this week was meeting my little brothers girlfriend for the first time. I am the only one married with kids of my siblings and my kids are seriously needing some cousins to spoil. Maybe a little premature but I can always wish.
ReplyDeleteIs there anything better than the sound of your children's laughter- I mean all of them at one time. It seems like you get of a lot of "She's touching me!" or "He took that!" It was so refreshing to just listen to them giggle through a simple game of hide and seek! I had to chuckle when I heard one of my girls say, "Ready or not, I shall be caught." They may not understand completely how it works, but I love that they never get tired of looking or hiding!
ReplyDeleteSorry- I forgot my e-mail. :) lydstew@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteMy favorite little thing this week was definitely taking my high schooler and "playing hookie" by having a girl's day. It was TOO FUN!
