The sun is shining and my garden is growing. We've had a flooded basement from storms, so it is pleasant to see the sun shining...

I went to Hatch Family Chocolates in Salt Lake...it reminded me of my grandparents candy company, and getting to help them during the summers. I love chocolate...definitely a favorite this week.

My favorite thing this week was watching my 2 year old run and jump through the sprinklers with nothing holding her back! There is nothing like that untainted excitement and passion.

My favorite little thing this week was just last night, when my husband called to my little one (18 months old) to come to bed. She walked away, stopped, waved bye to me, continued walking and then all of sudden I hear little feet running back to me! She gave me a quick hug and wave good night then followed her dad into her room. I was a heart warming moment! supersara85athotmaildotcom

ReplyDeleteYesterday my two year old son comes into the house..."Mom look I kick (picked) a flower for you". He holds out his hand and in it is a little weed with a purple flower.. I put the weed is in a small vase above my kitchen sink... I am reminded whenever I look at it that... it's the little thoughts in life that count....they are so priceless!

So my favorite little thing this week was when my son Noah hid my broom. I turned around and it was missing!
ReplyDeleteSo I asked "Noah, do you know where my broom went?" Noah: "yes, its my closet." Mommy:"why is it in your closet?"Noah: "because it is my flyer!"Mommy: "Your flyer? Do you fly around on it?" Noah: "Yeah!" Mommy: "Who taught you how?"Noah: "Grandma did!"

I helped my 81 year-old-mother (sorry mom) at a city event and this little girl came by and had chocolate icecream on every square inch of her face and arms. I LOVED IT and she wasn't even mine. Definitely a favorite "little thing".

My 4 year old, who is the pickiest eater, ate meatloaf!! A small victory.

My 5year old little girl waded through a wide 3inch deep puddle under the swings at the lake just so she could swing and drag her feet through the water, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth...

Finding someone who was able to reassemble my puzzle ring. I dropped the ring 2 years ago, and even with the written instructions including pictures and on-line videos, was not able to put it back together again. I'm thrilled to be able to wear it again, and I'm NOT taking it off again! =}
