My favorite thing was spending a "Girls Afternoon Out" with my 7yr old. With 4 brothers, she needs some time with Mom that doesn't involve watching some kind of sporting event!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite little thing was taking time to go to the bookstore and getting some new books to read!

My favorite Little Thing this week is when my cat, Tux (short for tuxedo) happened to catch a glimpse on TV of a black bird taking flight from a field of last year's grasses. She was ready to pounce on it, should it make another appearance. So, with 'instant replay' capabilities, I rewound and played it again. As you can see, she was nose to TV screen, and when I hit 'play' she chased that bird right around to the back side of the TV! I've never laughed so hard at her antics as I did this one!

Seeing my 7 year old son singing solo on stage for the first time ever. He's quite a shy boy but his teacher said he was doing so well she really thought he could do it. He has been practising religiously and on Friday made me the proudest Mummy on the planet.
ReplyDeleteAfterwards, I asked him how he did it. "It was easy Mummy," he replied. "I did exactly what you said. I sang it to someone I really love - Fluffy." Fluffy is his new pet rabbit. Well, it did the trick. He sang his heart out!

Record high temps during March allowed me to get my backyard pond up and running over a month earlier than usual. As I came into the backyard after work yesterday, there were 2 chickadees (my favorite) bathing under the waterfall, chirping away. Spring has sprung! timann@mchsi.com
