Went to sleep with the sound of crickets in my ears. Woke up to the sounds of birds chirping. Life is good.

We got 2 estimates for landscaping - One came in 50% lower than the other... and from the person we liked instantly!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing this week was watching my kids hang out with their friends. Their laughter made my day.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing this week is watching my kids play Monopoly with their Grandpa and "dealing" to buy properities. Lots of laughter.
ReplyDeleteSmelling the orange blossoms on my tree. Spring is in the air!

So far in this glorious week my FAVORITE of many wonderful things is having friends come over for coffee and laughing with them for a couple of hours.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing this week was when my son said "Thank you Mom for driving me." He has spent his whole spring break taking his drivers Ed classes and was grumpy and complaining because he spent his break still in school. Then out of the blue he said.."Thank You." That meant the world to me.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing this week is a Pajama Party with 3 of my grandsons, age 6, 4, and 4. My 6 yr. old wrote out the plan of what they wanted to do and then he checks them off as we complete them. Love his inventive spelling...and LOVE spending special time with them.

My favorite "Little Thing" this week is seeing that 'special smile' when my Sweetie received the keys to his brand new CR-V! He's waited a long time, and anguished over every aspect of his decision, and his smile told me he'd made the right choice! =}

My little thing for this week is my kids laughter. It's so innocent, cute and munch-kin like. When they are playing and laughing, it doesn't matter what I am doing I instantly puts me in a great mood. Laughter is great!!

I'm so thankful for Spring Break...cold weather and all! I'm a teacher, and it is much needed! curlyq31@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing this week...sunny, warm weather. The skies were blue with little white puffy clouds. A wonderful week! Nancy in So Cal

My favorite thing this week was doing the Easter weekend preparations with my kids - dying Easter eggs, putting together Easter baskets, and, of course, eating plenty of Easter candy together!

Just happy to be in life! We are having a lot of rain but am thankful for that also.

My wonderful hubby stayed home with our son and finished cleaning the house while I went shopping for myself (which I never do)
ReplyDeleteMy little boy learned how to open the back door and turn on the sprinklers all by himself. Too bad mommy didn't say he could first. We were wet from head to toe, but our trike was clean as a whistle.

Taking my daughters to visit their cousins. We have had a snowy spring break, so this was definitely worth the drive!

My favorite "little thing" this week was rocking my baby before bed tonight outside on our screened porch. I love warm spring nights!

I loved laughing at my boys while we were dying easter eggs. They kept making goofy faces because I kept complaining about their teenage goofy faces in pictures lately.
ReplyDeleteMy house guest gave us an Easter Lily....hadn't seen him since 1978 when we both lived in Washington state. He lives in OK City now and is in the area teaching a training class. It will be so pretty on my Easter table today.....he has said something that I have heard from scrappers.....the best things in life are not things but God, friends and family.

PS We had a beautiful Alabama sunset last night to show him.
Easter weekend was our first this year spent at our camp on a lake. Weather was great. Perfect for all that yard work and clean up that needed to be done. It's AWESOME to be back at camp! Here's a look at some of the work...

My favorite thing this week was starting a woman's wellness group and had our first meeting consisting of a weigh in and a walk. So far only the originating members but we had a lovely walk and set our exercise goal off on the right foot.

The ice went off the lake over a month earlier than ever in 48 years of keeping track! Can getting the boat in the water, swimming and family gatherings on the beach be far behind? I guess in Northern MN anything is possible but I choose to look on the bright & sunny side!)

My favorite thing this week was sitting in the sun relaxing for two hours!
