motivation monday: celebrating christmas

it's december 20th!
can you believe it? not me.
christmas is just five days away,
and if you haven't started capturing your
favorite little things of the season, it's time to start!

my favorite little thing today?
christmas caroling with my family.
we visited a few homes,
sung our favorite christmas tunes,
(and happy birthday, my two-year-old's request)
then back home for hot chocolate.
it sure put me in a sweet christmas mood.

memorymixer gifts

i'll tell you, i am SOOO excited to give my memorymixer gifts this year.
i made my mother-in-law a book,
my mom a throw,
and my friends calendars.

i can't wait to see their faces when they open them!!

deck the halls

my favorite little thing about christmas decorating?
the tree
(of course!)

last night we bundled up, and headed out to find the perfect christmas tree.
we brought it home, lit it up, and started decorating...magic.
my children's faces were full of pure delight and wonder.
they loved pulling out our ornaments and carefully hanging them.
i loved watching them, and am so glad i captured this little moment.
